hey
back from the 'Boys Night Out'.
really tired came home with charles today by taxi.

Before that the whole bunch of guys played soccer in the fellowship hall, this is a once in a life time kind of place to play at, we played till we were out of breath, we lost to the other group by 1 goal.

And the most inportant thing is that the whole boy's night out was Great! I will never forget this experience.

I can remember the last night out 3years ago, when i was a short adorable sec1 boy, it was the first Night out in Bethany, one incident i will never forget.

During supper the bunch of us 1990s were having carrot cake and we were about to go out to the roottop garden for vespers and talk about the day which had passed.
AND then some Hero threw the remains of the supper into the dustdin, BUT the plastic bag was not laid, haha, and then the Hero had to crawl into the bin and clear the left-overs. And he really looked funny doing that.

Okay, this years boys night out did not revolve around these funny lame stuff,
BUT
it did revolve many aspects on being a 'Better man'. Well one the first day Pastor Mitch talked about
CHARACTER and with out this we guys or everyone in NOTHING, and like a jellyfish, no backbone.
And example in the Bible was Joseph, we was a great man of character, by being.
- Honest.
- learn to Endure.
- Courage to say 'NO' to temptations.
- and Gracious.

then we had GAMES, everyone was looking forward to that, we had Rounders, HunTum Bola, And the all time favourite Soccer.
We played like mad men since there were no girls around. hah.
But soon it was time to take a shower. We were one of the first, besides ben who said he went to drink water but did not return. haha.

After that we had DINNER, we sure ate out fill, the food was catered, and we enjoyed till weiquan and benQ had no food.haha

Followed after was aother session,
this time Pastor Mitch talked about the BROTHERHOOD. It sure reminded me of the X-men, and Magneto's gang is called that too.
And this brotherhood he talked about was a God-fearing and Christ loving group, where we have a great bond and look out for each other in the christian walk, serving and working together and honoring each other.
We then broke into groups to discuss about how can this be developed,
and the 'golden brown' andrew(thats what he said) took us, i really dont think he is even brown, well allister, jem and i were in one group. We came out with a group having a commom interest and cared for each out.

We had a chance to watch a movie, we watched 'the return of the titans', wonderful show, almost brought tears to my eyes serious, but really funny.
It's about a true story of a newly appointed African-American coach and his high school team on their first season as a racially integrated unit. Lots of problems,as Coach Boone brought the blacks and whites together as a team as like a Marine Boot Camp but everyone missed the subtlety of this, The first part of boot camp is sure hell but they learn to work together no matter what colour.
And they came in states american football champions and Coach Boone made it work.


After part of the show we had SUPPER it was from teacher elaine and gerald before they get married this Saturday, we had carrotcake and oyster omelett. Great food.
Then we went back to catchup on the second half of the show.

Then sleeping time, the smarter ones went to bed only not sleep(spent an hour talking crap). All started with allister's rumour about his wonderful girlfriend. The other crazy people went to play soccer at B4.
By the time we finish our talk, the smelly sweaty boys came back and took a shower.haha

Day 2, i woke up hearing Mike's voice, he told everyone to wash up and FALL IN downstairs in 15min, so NCC. haha

BREAKFAST was also good, i think all the meals better than YC(youth conference), there was prata and coco crunch. yumyum.
well seperate la not together.

First and last session for the whole night out was all about..
BGR, one great factor in a guys life.
Lets start with. Girls are tough to please and there is no girls in this world that is not demanding(don't blame me, pastor mitch said it).
There are more Cons than Pros in BGR.
Like Time
Emotional Entanglement
Quarrels
PMS(Pre-Marital Sex)
But there are also qualites taught of a girlfriend we should be looking for.
So girls take note.
God-fearing
a women of Character
Virtuous person- noble

And as a closing song, we listened to 'a Better Man' by Robbie Williams.
After this camp, we are to be that man that God made us to be.

666

Yesterday was the Date 6june'06. Also known as 666 also known as the Devils number. Because on the 6 day men was created. the Omen came out today, it's movie.

About specifically points to the arrival of the Anti-Christ, who is branded with the numerical sequence '666': the mark of the Beast. The Anti-Christ will receive his power directly from Satan to establish a counterfeit kingdom on earth, signaling the beginning of Armageddon...

Well to day some helpful guys came back today to help sun the matteresses for the Junior Camp, Girls night out and Boys night out. So when you guys sleep, remember us (Josh, Charles, Clement, Allister, Joel, Nick, Ivan, WQ, Gavin and I).

Sunning the mattresses today was quite an Experience.
We reported at 9am, expecting there were more people turning up, i thought it would be an easy job.
But
there were only a handful of us. Like hardworking ants we started, we 1st arranged the tables to lay the matteresses.
Then we started to lay the materesses one by one.
Covering the whole church foyer all the way to the slope near the porch.

Ok la not the whole foyer.
We left the matteresses for about 20minutes, and then the signs started to appear.
One by one it happened.

The sky turns grey as the dark clouds covered the sun.



It got darker and DARKER...



And Darker...



this photo really reminds me of Jesus saying, 'Father, why have you forsaken me'.
Then the sky turned grey, as if they knew the Son of God had died.

And then it started to drizzel.



then all of as rushed down, gathering everything, preventing it to get wet. Imagine sleeping on wet smelly matteresses.eeewww.

and then more signs showed it was coming.



After clearing everything, the presure was getting nick and making him lighter then he already is usual. now that is real light. *sorry nick.

We did many other this besides sunning matteresses.
like cleaning the drains of the roof top garden.


some leaves blocking the drains.
There were much more didn't want to infect you guys.
There were other stuff like black decomposed leaves that looked like un-stired milo served at junior camp.eeew.

Vaccummed B4, it seems like the water will neverever stop flowing out and the world would just drown.
And the Weiquan said maybe the water comes from some dead bodies in the wall and the church was built on a cemetary, and you know they say a death of a person strengthens a building.haha.

Well tomorrow is boys night out don't really know what to expect, since the last night out was in 2003 when i was a young immature boy. But now i have, no commemts please.
