:D

just had to post this video. POKEMON = WITCHCRAFT. LMAO.
the reality of false teachers.

this was what Scorpion Company Drill Squad planned to do for our inter-company drill competition. But due to the lack of time to practice, we only used alittle. Came in 4th out of 11. Raven COY came in 1st, their's were superb. Did their fancy drill to OneRepublic's Apologise.
thing i'm thankful for in BMT:

being in a warrant officer company (they treat you really nicely.lol)
being in platoon 2 which means on the third floor.
not too high, so don't have to walk too many flights of stairs but high enough to see the sun set and rise.
being in section 4, no trees outside to block the sunrise, allows sun to enter room. more spacious.
being bed 08, bottom bunk, get direct blow from the fan, while my buddy on the upper bunk complains it's super hot.
also having my locker next to the window, so it's bright enough to see what's in your locker and see yourself in the mirror.
(sections mates always love coming by my mirror.haha it's like a backstage mirror)
S2408 :D

really thankful for the friends i've made there. not for them, BMT would have been really boring and dreadful. awesome sergeants that don't give you too much crap, and would also sit down and open up. sufficient free time to do what you have to do, even extra time to train physically. i'm also known as a freak, because i don't perspire alot. when others return with drenched shirts, mine is just alittle wet at the back. In which it's something to be thankful for, because then i smell alot better than the others and wont have to suffer with wet clothes etc. However, it's pretty dangerous because my body is unable to cool itself down, and more prone to heat injuries.

and surprisingly, when it came to writing down the PROS and CONS of BMT, I found it hard to fill in 3 short points for CONS of BMT. the Lord has indeed been with me through this entire course. Held Isaiah 40:31 close to my heart.

31 But those who wait on the LORD
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.

These are just a few of the many things I'm thankful for. I'm glad to say that through the Lord's grace and mercy, I've been able to achieve almost everything an average recuit plans to achieve. Like Marksmanship for shooting, IPPT Gold etc. The only thing left is making it for OCS.

If I manage to get in, I'm prepared for a tough 9month journey. I know I cannot afford to be complacent. Yet again, I've got to place my trust up on the Lord. My Savior, My God. my new favourite song by Aaron Shust.

Had my Passing-Out Parade last week, can't believe it's all over. so many memories. GOOD TIMES, PURELY GOOD TIMES. everything flashed before my eyes as my parents walked over to put on my jockey cap, a symbol of graduation from basic military training.

I remember moments of laughter where we made fun of the sergeants behind their backs and scarying eachother at night with ghost stories and hiding under the covers of the victim's blanket, only jumping out and screaming when he comes back. Lots of singing in the Bunk, disney songs in particular. haha. The 6 day field camp experience, where i got bored and built a bench using logs and didn't get to shower. Grenade throwing exercises and live shoots, the power of gun-powder. Singing with much passion as we marched to the ferry terminal for book-outs. H1N1 out-break in camp that felt like L4D(the game). Moments I wish to cherish and never forget. Moments that only by experiencing it first hand will you understand, and not seem like long post of nonsense. haha.

And tears almost came rolling down my cheeks as i awaited my folks. Never did I expect my first 9 weeks of army to be this memorable and blessed.
