circle of life.
Aunty nelly just passed away, only moments ago. was thinking of her on the way up to the office, before hearing the news. looking at the family camp poster with her in it which was plastered on the lift wall.
it has been a tough journey for her. vague memories of her singing with the evergreens for church events. And times where she would come over to our house for CAFE meetings, sometimes bring along goodies for my siblings and i.

yesterday in the car, my dad was going to visit aunty nelly so he decided to give me a lift to school. he was telling me about how it's good to go visit people in hospital. a source of support and encouragement for the family. and though aunty nelly cant respond, she might still be able to still understand on her side.
and aptly, the circle of life, from the lion king, by Elton john started to play on the radio.

From the day we arrive on the planet

at prayer meeting pastor asked us to prayer for aunty nelly as she faces the last few weeks. never really thought it would be this soon. but i believe God has it all in His perfect plan. like cos pastor would be away in india for the week. and if she passes away then, he wouldnt be back in time for the vigil and all. pastor said he will be speaking on the idea of the valley of death. something no one really looks forward to. i'm glad that aunty nelly knew the Lord and had years of being a blessing to everyone, expressed through her jovial character. i remember going for her husband's vigil long time back in BethanyII, then i just tagged along with my parents, but not time round, more than just tagging.

God has us all in His perfect plan. something i'll be blogging about in my next post. now back to studying.

recently found out that my exams will be on the first week of march.
good and bad though.
good cos it's at least 2weeks before family camp. got time to prepare.
bad cos it means i've really got to start preparations, it's only less than 2weeks.
the exam craze is here again.

have been trying to eat healthy this week. just so happened the chunk i took out looks like a heart-shape.

Going to watch the curious case of benjamin button today. the plot sounds awesome. 8.5 stars out of 10 on IMDB
On the day that Hurricane Katrina hits New Orleans, elderly Daisy Williams nee Fuller is on her deathbed in a New Orleans hospital. At her side is her adult daughter, Caroline. Daisy asks Caroline to read to her aloud the diary of Daisy's lifelong friend, Benjamin Button. Benjamin's diary recounts his entire extraordinary life, the primary unusual aspect of which was his aging backwards, being born an old man who was diagnosed with several aged diseases at birth and thus given little chance of survival, but who does survive and gets younger with time. Abandoned by his biological father, Thomas Button, after Benjamin's biological mother died in childbirth, Benjamin was raised by Queenie, a black woman and caregiver at a seniors home. Daisy's grandmother was a resident at that home, which is where she first met Benjamin. Although separated through the years, Daisy and Benjamin remain in contact throughout their lives, reconnecting in their forties when in age they finally match up. Some of the revelations in Benjamin's diary are difficult for Caroline to read, especially as it relates to the time past this reconnection between Benjamin and Daisy, when Daisy gets older and Benjamin grows younger into his childhood years.

at first i had my own theory that since he's reverse aging. then he would become a foetus and reverse and die. but i heard it didnt end that way. well i'll see later on tonight.

seniors and juniors.

went for my secondary school's family day get together. seeing familar faces really was heartwarming XD
and yeah yingen we really do look alike, ever since sec1. lol
stayed up the whole night to 'take care of the student', but we ended up catching up with old friends and playing stupid games. haha.
at 7am i took at 10min walk home for a shower and went off for school for presentation at 9.30am.
without slept i dozed off when others presented. sorry guys :S
went for another class after that.
then when i reached home at 5.30pm, i just plonked on the bed and slept.
woke up at 8am for church. abt 14.5hours.

well last week of assignments. then it's exam prep. gg lol.
